The Mitsy Forest Women’s Club (MFWC) is instrumental in planning various social activities around the neighborhood. These events include once-a-month Friday Happy Hours, Holiday parties, Fourth of July children’s parade, Annual Progressive Dinner, and an Annual Garage sale. In the past, other events have included Kick-off and End-of-Summer parties, Chili Cookoff, and along with the MFCA an Annual Pig Roast/Oktoberfest. In addition to social events, MFWC has a Sunshine Committee that provides support to new moms or neighbors who are ill or homebound by arranging meals. MFWC meetings are held twice a year and the club is currently chaired by Jen Childress, Christine Jones, and Meghan Bentley. Annual dues are $30. If you cannot be an active participant, please consider joining as a financial supporter.

Neighborhood Spring Clean Up
March 20, 2021
Please mark your calendars for March 20, 2021 for the Mitsy Forest Neighborhood Spring Clean Up. We will have a chipper down at the pool parking lot and, possibly, a dumpster but are still working on that one so will follow-up closer to the date. In addition to just a general neighborhood clean-up, we would love to get some of our teens to help with a clean-up of all of our road signs, so if you have any teens that might be interested, please let Meg Cogburn know. Also, if anyone would like some assistance in tackling some clean-up in your yard, or if you would be interested in being part a group that helps others in the neighborhood with some yard clean-up, please let Meg Cogburn know. We’d love to get neighbors helping neighbors!!
